The idea for this came from images I’d seen in magazines from the 1970s that were inspirational in their own right, the main one being a handmade Christmas gift guide I thought was genius! I could have sworn I’d seen a llama somewhere in one of them, but even if I can’t find it again the idea stuck and now here we are. I had already made a couple different llamas, so I thought this would be a nice variation. Each square of this llama is the same creamy white center bordered with grey that accent and match the granite print variegated yarn putting it all together. All yarn is 100% acrylic. The result was a more consistent pattern accented by the variegation. This very cuddly llama pillow (or stuffed animal depending on how you look at it) measures approximately 19 inches high, 16 ½ inches wide, and 5 inches thick.
