This is one of my favorites for how much character it has. Red and black is a common theme for me, but this one takes it to another level. Red glass seed beads create the accent on its back as well as the beginning of its legs that gives it a little extra drama. (Sorry, I don’t know the technical terms for the parts of spiders, I just like making them!) I also can’t help but imagine this one having a slight shuffle to its walk and a little softening of the “s” in its monotone soft voice if it was to speak, kind of like “It’sh a nish day, today, ishn’t it?” That’s also what inspired its official title. It measures approximately 2 ½ inches wide depending on how it’s posed, however, pose with caution as too much bending could break the wire inside.
